Mulching & Wood Chipping Adelaide

Two jobs in one trade. Either there is a pile of branches in the yard that needs to disappear, or there is a garden bed that needs bulk mulch on top of it. The crew runs both ends of the work.

For the on site chipping, the industrial unit comes through the gate and pulls branches up to around 200mm in diameter straight off the lawn. The chip pile lands where you want it — through the garden bed, around the base of the mature gum at the back, or in a windrow ready for the tipper to lift out. Saves the trips to the green waste depot and the cost of trailer hire, and the chip from a clean prune drop is the best feed a Adelaide garden bed sees all year.

For bulk mulch delivery, the tipper drops fresh chip or aged compost mulch by the cubic metre. Fresh chip locks moisture into tree wells and paths, breaks down slowly and suppresses weed germination on a driveway edge. Aged mulch has sat through a turn and a half so the nitrogen draw is finished — that is the grade for the rose bed, the new planting holes and the veggie patch.
